Frontline Plus will break the flea luife cycle which helps prevent future infection. Fipronil is an active ingredient which, when applied, is stored in the oil grands under your pet's skin. Simply place the applicator tip through your pet's hair to the skin between the shoulder blades. Then squeeze and apply the contents in a single spot on the skin. Now you can rest assured your pet is protected for a full 30 days.

Fleas and ticks can unexpectadly invite themselves onto your pet. Not only will they harm your pet but will make your home a less comfortable plase to live. If your pet begins scratching excessively it may be the first sign of a flea problem. Fleas can cause may diseases, make your pet misserable and affect their overall health.

Check your pets for fleas on a regular basis. Look for black specks on your pet and pet bedding. Use a metal comb and run it through your pet's coat. If you find black specks on the comb you may have found flea dirt. Also, rub a paper towel on the fur of your pet and look for flea dirt. If you find fleas drown them in hot soapy water.

Ticks can cause disease that can threaten your pet's life. Lyme disease is the most widely known tick disease and can be treated with antibiotics and other tick diseases are also very dangerous. If you notice a loss of appetite, fever, depression, vomiting or diarrheas, contact your veterinarian, for these are signs of possible tick bits. Again it's a good idea to check your pet for ticks on a regular basis. Pay close attention to your pet's neck, paws and head. Look for ticks and feel for unusual bumps. Carefully remove ticks with tweezers and take them to your vet to determine the species and treatment.

To prevent fleas and ticks from occuring; mow and rake the lawn, wash your pet's bedding fequently, vacuum carpets and other areas your pet lays and of course use Frontline flea Control on a monthly basis. Your pet will thank you and live a more normal healthy happy life.
